The BC 1K bitumen thick coating from BITUTEC is an innovative, single-component and polymer-modified solution for reliable moisture protection in areas in contact with the ground. Tested in accordance with DIN EN 15814 and compliant with DIN 18533, it offers optimum protection against ground moisture, non-pressing water and splash water - ideal for basements, underground garages, foundations and more.

Areas of application

The BC 1K is perfect for:

  • Vertical and horizontal surfaces (basement walls, floor slabs, balconies, terraces)
  • Mineral substrates such as concrete, masonry, screed and plaster
  • Sealing connections, pipe penetrations and retaining walls
  • Fixing insulation and drainage boards

Processing - This is how it works

  1. Prepare the substrate: Clean, sound and free of cracks.
  2. Apply primer (for absorbent substrates).
  3. ApplyBC 1K in at least 2 coats using a trowel or spray technique.
  4. Embed reinforcement insert (for areas at risk of cracking).
  5. Allow to dry completely (2-3 days).
